Grand Paris Sud: A strategic location for your business

The Sénart NIO encompasses eight municipalities (Cesson, Combs-la-Ville, Lieusaint, Moissy-Cramayel, Nandy, Réau, Savigny-le-Temple and Vert-Saint-Denis) in Seine-et-Marne and two (Saint Pierre-du-Perray and Tigery) in Essonne.

On 1 January 2016, it became part of the new Grand Paris Sud Seine-Essonne-Sénart urban area, located just 35 km from the French capital.

The RER D rapid transit rail system serves four NIO stations. There are direct services to the Gare de Lyon (30 min) and Châtelet-les-Halles (33 min) stations, and the urban area is criss-crossed by 39 bus routes. There are four bus rapid transit services to Massy (TGV station), Évry, Suresnes, Marne-la-Vallée and Melun (TGV station). Orly Airport is just 20 minutes away by car, and Paris-CDG Airport only 50 minutes away. Villaroche Aerodrome can be reached in 5 minutes.

They have already put their trust in us

Marc Chauvin, President of the Île de France organic cooperative

"We were looking, with the support of the Île-de-France Region and the Seine-Normandy Water Agency, for a site that was accessible multimodally. Between two major production basins in our sector (Essonne and Seine-et-Marne), served by the A5 motorway and the Francilienne ring road, the Sénart Ecopôle and the attractiveness of its land cost were among the many factors that convinced us."

Yannick Michon, Managing Director of Assa Abloy

“We wanted to consolidate the Swedish group's 3 French entities on a single site, which would become our headquarters. We had to find a territory close to our two Ile-de-France sites, accessible for our employees while offering a pleasant professional environment, but also a place to live for those who were planning to move. We didn't want to lose our internal expertise. We employ a total of 500 people in France, including 150 at the head office. Many of them visited Sénart. This was really satisfying for the group, which will support them."

Hervé Richard, CEO of Cogerest

“We have had good feedback from our network about Sénart. Furthermore, the professional support offered to us during the search for land and the identification of our needs facilitated our choice for the future location of our project. We should start operating the site in March 2021. In addition to Cogerest's activity in Longjumeau, the Lieusaint site is optimised to produce 15,000 meals daily, which will then be delivered throughout the Ile-de-France! 75 employees will eventually work in Sénart. 50 to 60 local jobs will thus be created on the new site."
